Explore exclusive archives, immersive stories, and the untold tales from the heart of a once again songwriter.

After writing 180 songs in my 20s, I put down my guitar in order to pursue synthesizers. I had synthesizers, a mixer, a reel-to-reel tape recorder, and lots of other gear. A friend saw my music room and said, "It looks like Mission Control in here!"
That was it. I began calling my electronic instrumentals, "Music From Mission Control."
I can't sing or play guitar anymore but having AI help me put my lyrics to the music I envision is the second time I've turned to technology. Hence the name "Mission Control Revisited."
Before I provide links, let me explain the songs...
NEW BALLADS
Dancing With Shadows: Is a song for fellow adults who survived a rough childhood.
I Press Rewind: Is about the memories we collect and cherish in long-term relationships.
The Chipped Tooth: How out perceived flaws often sabotage our self-esteem.
I Can't Trust My Legs: About aging and the loss of mobility.
Daughters Of My Heart: What it feels like to find “unofficially adopted daughters” late in life.
Drum Circle Heart: Why I still host community drum circles after so many decades.
DragonRider: A song about female empowerment.
My Heart Home Is India: A love letter to the country of my heart.
Family: How it feels when one’s “family of choice” includes intercultural families.
The Door: A song about how one’s best life lies just beyond our comfort zone.
Japanese Garden: My dedication to a supportive partner.
Your Mirror: Retire your inner critic and see yourself through MY eyes.
Arms Open Wide: The sequel to “Dancing With Shadows.” Surviving tough childhoods.
NEW COMEDY
Clutter Blues: Poking fun of my own tendency to create a mess of every workspace.
First Date Disaster: A funny song about a fictional first date.
Santa Fe Blues: Poking fun of the city I love.
I'm a Beer Snob, Baby: Poking fun of how fussy I am about beer. (and everything else).
New Age Nonsense: A gentle poke at the trendy pseudoscience of the week.
My Acoustic Years... Reimagined
I completely rearranged some of the best songs I wrote in my 20s. Same lyrics, AI playing the music I wanted, and AI providing the vocals.
Part personal ballads, part comedy, which is how I performed back in the day.
